1: Use a plastic carton. |
2: Squeeze edges between fingers for first cut. |
3: Continue to cut the carton roughly in half, around the circumference. |
4: Trim to bottom of handle. |
5: Adjust base to balance. |
6: Draw and cut out tail. |
7: Draw and cut out front. |
8: Draw and cut out the sides. |
9: Trim trunk to size. |
10: Ready for decorating with sequins, ribbons, tissue paper, anything sparkly & colourful. |
11: Either decorate straight on to the plastic container ....with fabrics, tassels, etc. stuck on with PVA glue |
12: OR....paint first and DRY completely. |
13: Don’t forget the lid. |
14: Then let your imagination run riot and decorate with whatever you can lay your hands on. |
